Balinese Ceremonies are an integral part of the cultural life of the Indonesian island of Bali. Every day there are celebrations in the temples, in the houses and in the streets.
Accompanied by music, dance, and processions, these ceremonies are a way for the people to connect with their ancestors, culture and religion.
Balinese ceremonies are deeply rooted in the Hindu religion. The Balinese practice a form of Hinduism called “Balinese Hinduism”
This form of Hinduism is unique in Bali and has evolved to include traditional Balinese ceremonies practises and beliefs.
Balinese believe that every object has a soul, and that gods and spirits are omnipresent in their daily lives.
