It’s our greatest pleasure to introduce Samana Kids Festival, the very first kids-designed festival on Bali. Samana Kids Festival is the first festival in Bali that gives children the freedom to voice their aspirations, ideas, hopes, and creativity.

With the theme “JUST LISTEN“, the Samana Kids festival is intended to touch parents’ perspective in raising children about what they should want to do! We need to trust our kids for a better future.

The kid’s voice is essential, and we listen to them.

The Samana Kids Festival is made not FOR CHILDREN but WITH THEM. Kids will perform on stage, young artists will exhibit their artwork in our kids gallery, young entrepreneurs will sell their products in our market, young change-makers will give talks to make us dream of a better future ☀️

During this full day of celebration, kids (3 to 14yo) will be able to explore, have fun and enlarge their knowledge!

ëCollabo8 was created to reduce plastic waste through re- and upcycling plastic waste. From small molded production to unique art pieces or furniture, they thrive to constantly innovate to find ways to produce things in a more environmental respective manner. They believe real change can be achieved through educating the youth and empowering the communities.

A sustainability movement that empowers communities to change their waste behavior through dignity-based exchange systems that result in cleaner, healthier environments. With rapid success in Banjar Jangkahan and Banjar Penulisan, Batuaji Village, I Made Janur realized this model could be replicated in other villages to create a greater impact.

Liina Klauss

Art has a social message. Former fashion designer, free spirit and artist from Berlin. Now she lives in Bali as an artist, activist, and ocean warrior. Liina has been making colorful art out of “ocean plastic trash” since 2011. When Liina focuses on color rather than plastic waste, the negative value “trash” is eliminated.

“You no longer judge what you find; you solely work with color. You become considerably more open and creative as a result.”

Ron Lilley

Ron Lilley has lived in Bali since 2003. Before that he lived and worked on other islands of Indonesia, mostly with Nature conservation NGOs. He caught and looked after captive snakes for many years. Now he runs the Bali Snake Patrol, which aims to rescue snakes from people, and people from snakes!
