Conscious clothing goes beyond style, merging function and design with purpose while embodying a consciousness that reflects your personal values.

I’m in South Africa for the first time.

As a global advisor to cohesive communities and those seeking a greater connection with nature, living sustainably, and harmonizing with Mother Earth, I’m always exploring what it means to be conscious. On my quest, I meet a range of unique and authentic individuals who are also seeking to live in balance with their beliefs or creatively redefine what we consciously value.

Today, I had the pleasure of a conversation with Meikushi at the Ensō shop in Fisherman’s World, Mainstream, Hout Bay. He and his wife, Maya, run a conscious clothing business called Puresolid13. They assert that their clothes go beyond style, merging function and design with purpose while embodying a consciousness that reflects your personal values. By choosing Puresolid13, you are making a wholesome, authentic, and original choice.

conscious clothing

sourced from Japan specially because of their organic nature

Their fabrics are sourced from Japan specially because of their organic nature of the process and are tailored for wear in South Africa. As someone who works with sacred groups in ceremonies, I need clothing that not only feels comfortable but is also energetically aligned with the frequency and healing space I create with and for others.

Conscious clothing empowered me in my divine feminine archetype

The Puresolid13 clothing empowered me in my divine feminine archetype while offering the flexibility to wear them in my permaculture garden when planting seeds. I purchased a durable blue/grey pinafore that can be dressed up or down for each season with glamping boots or elegant shoes. I added a cream muslin top to the ensemble for a more ceremonial look, and the top can also be paired with khaki pants.

I spent six months in Bali last year and felt that the Puresolid13 range would resonate well with Ubud’s yoga and healing retreat teachers and students. It exudes Bali’s class and style, singing of the new universal conscious clothing range we are eager to wear and be seen in.

I’m having fun in my outfit and am excited to wear it on my return to Portugal, where I’m heading next to meet the growing number of vagabonds who are gathering and sowing the seeds of a more conscious way of living in community and co-creating in cooperation rather than competition. See you on the road.
