About me:
– Robert Ian Bonnick facilitates significant foreign investment into Bali and Indonesia-at-Large.
At my core, I am an inspirator and connector, which is reflected in what I do. I’m known as The Partnerships & Tourism Architect, and I am a bridge connecting Private Industry, Tourism, and Government. In an advisory role,
What inspired you to live and work in Bali?
To come to Bali, it was my beloved Marina, creative director of Edit by Marina and mother of our twochildren, who suggested six years ago that we take a break from Sydney, Australia. Work was the next natural step. But there’s more. I grew up for 18 years in multicultural children’s homes in London, which showed me my mission and the power of embracing diversity and inclusion. So, is it any coincidence that I live and work in a nation whose national motto is “Unity in Diversity”?
How has your time in Bali changed your perspective on life?
Not so much changed, but it uncovered what was already there. You have your own gifts and set of challenges to overcome. By recognizing and overcoming them, you can contribute to yourself, your family, your community, and ultimately, the world at large.
What is your favorite place in Bali?
My favorite place in Bali is Tabanan.
