As digital nomads, we have the privilege of traveling the world and experiencing different cultures. However, we are also part of a larger issue. We bring financial resources to emerging countries, which can cause inequalities. We believe we are part of the problem, and we want to become also part of the solution.
Many of us have received high-quality education in developed countries and possess highly sought-after digital skills. This is where the Prokope Akademy comes in. We connect digital nomads who have skills in marketing, design, web development, entrepreneurship, and more, with local schools to deliver offline workshops for 1-3 weeks.
Through these workshops, local students receive their first exposure to digital tools and learn how to build a future career in the digital sector. Not only does this help these students, but it also adds a layer of meaning to the digital nomads who are connecting on a deeper level with the local communities they live in.
