When our chakras are opened and functioning well, we can feel the effects internally and externally.

For some of us, talking about chakras is obvious, and for others it is more esoteric. Chakra means wheels, they are the nodes of the Nadis, the body’s energy lines.

We have heard that there are seven main chakras in our body. According to Sadhguru, an Indian mystic, we have 114 chakras connected to our system, and two are outside our physical body, 108 can be activated, and the rest can blossom by themselves.

Our human body is connected to the solar system

108 is a significant number in the formation of the solar system; the distance between the Sun and our planet Earth is 108 times the diameter of the Sun, and the distance between the Moon and Earth is 108 times the diameter of the Moon. 1+8=9, this is one of the important numbers of the universe.

Only 21 chakras are needed to operate all our bones and flesh of human life. The others are there to reach the highest dimensions of perception and allow this human body to blossom to its full potential.

Let’s focus on the seven main chakras that we have all heard about

These energy wheels are represented by the lotus flowers (with different numbers of petals)

They are connected to the spinal cord (negative side), other body nodes, the entire nervous system, glands and organs, and the central column up and down.

Having these energy wheels opened and in proper working condition is “the” way to stay in perfect health and be receptive to eventual download of information.

This is because when these wheels are activated and working in resonance, we can raise our Kundalini energy (to reach a higher level of consciousness and access to other dimensions).

MULHADARA, THE ROOT CHAKRA

It’s located at the level of the pelvic floor and refers to our vital needs, the feeling of safety and grounding.

It corresponds to the “I am”, its color is red, it is associated with the element of Earth, with smell, it is the one we need to take care of when we live in stressful circumstances.

SVADISTHANA, THE SACRAL CHAKRA

is related to sexual organs, reproductive glands, creativity, sensuality and sexuality.

It corresponds to “I feel”, its color is orange, it is associated with the element of water, with taste, it is the one to take care of us when our emotions are unbalanced or our creativity is asleep.

MANIPURA, THE SOLAR PLEXUS

in relation with willpower and self-confidence. It corresponds to “I will.” Its color is yellow. It is associated with the element of fire, with the gaze, which we must pay attention to increase our self-esteem and be more active.

THE FOURTH IS ANANHATA, THE HEART CHAKRA

associated with love and kindness.

It corresponds to “I love.” Its color is green, related to the sense of touch, associated with the air element. It is the one to care for if we want to expand our sense of freedom, love and belonging at the same time.

VISHUDDHA, THE THROAT CHAKRA

It has to do with expression and communication. It corresponds to “I speak.” Its color is light blue and has to do with sound and truth. It is the chakra to attend to if you want to improve your sense of communication, connection and overall expression of who you are.

THE SIXTH ONE IS ANJA, THE THIRD EYE

It has to do with light, intuition and consciousness. It corresponds to “I see.” Its color is blue Klein or violet, according to the school, it is the one you must focus on, if you want to develop your wisdom, spirituality and awaken your soul.

SAHASRARA, THE CROWN CHAKRA

connected to the cosmos, the divine, and to source energy. It corresponds to “I know.” Its color is violet or white, depending on the school. It is the chakra to take care of when you need guidance for your realization.
