An intelligent, beautiful woman who had her art gallery in Ubud – is also a healer having a constant dialogue with the gods. She got the “Taksu” from the gods when she was a teenager, but at that time, she didn’t want it and inwardly rejected it.

“It was challenging for me to see, hear and feel things that other people couldn’t, so I kept it to myself for a long time because I didn’t want to attract attention.”

What does your name mean? Did you choose it yourself?

“The gods sent me my name through my dreams; that’s one way the gods communicate with me. After that, I went to see a person who knows and can understand and interpret such dreams when they come from the gods.”

“When we choose our name, we write it down in Balinese script on a lontar sheet and later, of course, there is a ceremony for it.”

What does it mean, Taksu?

“Taksu is the Blessing from the gods you receive, the gift you get from them. It all comes gently and in different ways.”

How do you communicate with the universe having you dialogue with the gods?

“With my heart, that’s how I get all the answers to the questions I ask.”

When did you decide to go your spiritual way?

 “It’s not that I am proud I can see all this behind the curtains and other people not”.

The gods lead me to go that way. But first, I denied it because I was too scared to take this responsibility, and I asked myself these questions:

 Why me? Why am I not normal? Why can I see all these things!? I start to ask my mom many weird questions, and I am still trying to understand why I am going this way now and what it means.

Because I think I am not a nice person, so many others know more about religion; they know a lot about offerings, about everything. So, why me?

My mother said: “Because you meant to be”! It’s your GIFT to have this dialogue with the gods.

“I started to focus more and realize that is the power of the universe”.

When I go somewhere, the gods give me their hands and lead me to the person, to the places that make me more comfortable, and I can control my anxieties.

What anxieties?

“I borrow the eyes of the gods so that I can see and read people”. 

Sometimes it is hard when a freshly happy man stands in front of me, full of life and energy, and I see that he is ill and has to go to a hospital immediately. Or When I know that someone is going to die soon. Why do I have to see these things? I see it quite clearly, with my open mind.

Then I have to stop for a moment and go to my room, and I cry.

Such things are not easy for me. 

And how do you manage your dialogue with the gods now?

“Focus and Concentration is significant”!

I go to my temple at home, make an offering for that person and ask the gods what I should do. I ask them about the person who comes to my house I am going to help. 

Why is he coming here? Who told him to come here so that I can heal him? What is the education part from my side?

Then suddenly a film comes on all about this person. 

Every day I walk the path, it makes me believe in God even more. 

And I am so thankful that my mother is here; she encourages me to go this way. 

What is it like to be a healer?

“I am just the Cleaning Service of the Universe. The universe just gave me a big chance to support it, that’s all”

We look at it as a duty to support, and the gods and the universe open the way for us.

We deeply realize ourselves, our feelings and our emotions. And how we know the universe and how we value it.

Sometimes it looks like we are fanatics about what we do because we follow the laws of the universe. 

“I don’t feel any more exalted than any other human being”.

I am so happy when I see the people who come to see me and ask for help, making their process successful in what they do; this makes me very happy.

That’s all, nothing more than that.

Is that how you make a living?

Does it make me rich? No, sometimes I’m booked all day, but I don’t get rich from that. Spiritual is Spiritual.

For living my life, I have another business. I’m constantly having this dialogue with the gods.

A lot of people who make healings charge a lot of money. There is nothing wrong with that. It’s just different from mine. I got the “Taksu” from the gods; it’s my gift. For this, I cannot take money from the people and make myself rich.

That’s not the way the gods like to see. The” Taksu” can be gone if you get yourself rich or do not go the right way.

What is Black Magic?

“Not everyone walks the spiritual path of Blessing, also the path of learning.”

Sometimes what other “Healers” do it’s not God’s way. They make their own rules. And it scares me the courage that these kinds of healers have, Their courage towards the gods. It’s not about blame; it’s just the question, how can you do this in the name of the gods?

“If you receive black magic, just let it. If your karma is good, it will return to the sender immediately.”

Conclusion:

Yes, people like Ibu Jro are compassionate people, and when they are in tune with the universe, they see everything they are supposed to see and can support and accompany you in your questions and problems. 

But in the end, you are the one who has to make the decision, and no one can take that away from you.
