The newly opened location is aptly named Dharma Kula, where “Dharma” signifies a higher purpose and “Kula” embodies the sense of community.
Dharma Kula began its journey as a humble neighbourhood café with ambitious aspirations. This establishment has grown so much over the past six years since it first welcomed patrons beneath the Bintang Supermarket in Ubud. Today, Dharma Kula boasts not one, but two thriving locations along the Sanggingan Street, each catering to the daily needs of hundreds of satisfied customers.
From its very inception, Dharma Kula has been committed to nurturing the community as its higher calling.
With its expanded premises, Dharma aims to enhance its service by offering additional seating, a designated play area for young children, an expanded store featuring sustainable products, and an upstairs community space for daily yoga sessions, workshops, and complimentary guided meditation sessions, all aimed at nourishing the well-being of the body, mind, and soul.
Dharma has gained a strong reputation for its unwavering commitment to offering high-quality coffee.
While patrons can continue to relish the same beloved classics that have been a part of Dharma’s menu since its inception, like the avocado wasabi on toast and the smoked salmonless bagel, Dharma Kula introduces an array of even more flavourful innovations.
This includes a selection of vegetarian and vegan Indonesian comfort food, kid-friendly meals, and mouthwatering sourdough pizzas.
There’s always something for everyone at Dharma Kula.
