Around we have the gentle giants like reef sharks, turtles, bumphead parrotfish, big schools of trevallies and snappers can be spotted year-round, as can the tiny critters and micro life like nudibranchs, seahorses, pygmy seahorses, pipefishes and mandarin fish.
- Reef sharks are often seen as gentle giants. They are very curious and they will often swim up to divers and check them out.
- Turtles are also seen as gentle giants. They have a very slow metabolism and can go for months without eating or drinking anything.
- Bumphead parrotfish use their head to break open hard shelled prey like clams, oysters, lobsters, crabs and snails.

The Gilis are an archipelago of three small islands, we can use our triplets to vary our dive sites and find the best conditions. The Gilis have world class diving with clear water and schools of fish. With so many different sites to explore it is easy for divers to get bored, but this is not a problem at all because you have your own personal dive buddies with you!
Oceans 5 Dive is the perfect place for divers, non-divers and families. The resort offers a wide range of accommodation options including beachfront rooms, pool bungalows and garden rooms. Apart from accommodation, the resort also features two large swimming pools and access to all places including restaurants and shops.
The dive sites are a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes away, the boat returns to the dive shop after each dive which makes it easy to plan a dive schedule.
