Grounding Ourselves

Grounding ourselves, being centered, as a lifestyle, or on-demand when facing challenging events... Kind of easy to do when everything goes right, a bit more complicated when nothing flows... and of course, it is when we need it the most! Let’s have a closer look at this beautiful state of being and see how we could operate to make it last longer or tap into it when required.

Grounding ourselves, being centered, as a lifestyle, or on-demand when facing challenging events… Kind of easy to do when everything goes right, a bit more complicated when nothing flows… and of course, it is when we need it the most!

Let’s have a closer look at this beautiful state of being and see how we could operate to make it last longer or tap into it when required.

First of all, what does it mean to feel grounded? I would say feeling good, centered, at peace, deeply rooted, and aligned with who we are.

Feeling lost, uncertain, subject to doubt, judgement, criticism, uncertainty and believing that the truth is outside of ourselves. On the one hand, everything flows into our life, synchronicities operate and resonating people appear. On the other hand, nothing goes right, we could believe that life is against us and therefore fall into the trap of the victim mode. As everything is energy working by repetition & patterns, it belongs to the law of attraction and quantum physics.

What we emit is what we receive, so being in one state or another can keep us turning in circles.

So, what to do when it is time to shift the negative energy?

1-Consciousness

Being aware that you are out of alignment

2-Take responsibility

Nobody is against you except your own energy generated by your thoughts, feelings, emotions based on your belief system. It’s your own subconscious program. Integrate into your life, that the answer comes from within; you are the only one to know what you need.

3-Accept what is

Observing and accepting it is a gift and a message to show you, that something could be transformed, that your soul is longing for the better.

4-Identify

Try to identify and understand its origin, what is behind this discomfort, and what makes you feel against the current situation, right now in your life. Check yourself at a physical and emotional level (sleep, nutrition, digital pollution, toxic relationships, meaningless activities, loss of power etc….)

5- Make decisions and take action

Create the changes required into your life: it could be speaking your truth, setting boundaries, starting activities fulfilling your Soul, finding your Soul mission, using all your skills and talents, doing what makes you feel good, finding answers and direction inside of yourself.

6-Take care of your energy

Adopt a healthy lifestyle. Having enough sleep, consuming nourishing & healthy food and drinks, practicing physical activity, do anything that helps raising your vibration. I did a series of videos about that, check it out on my IG, FB or Youtube channel.

7-Activate your root chakra, Muladhara

Connect to mother Earth, walk barefoot.It is one of the fastest ways to ground yourself. Go swimming, walk in a forest, field or on the beach to charge yourself with horizontal energies. Wear the colour red, focus on smell, practice chanting the Lam Mantra, dance on earthy, African tribal rhythms and anything else activating your root chakra.

8-Meditate

Of course, you can start by that if you get used to meditation because answers and solutions are nowhere else but within yourself.grounding ourselves life mindful lifestyle health psychology freeyourmind free mind bali When we feel unbalanced, it is because we are disconnected from our higher self, our source energy. It resides inside of each of us. By meditating, you are rapidly accessing that space of calm, benevolence, wisdom and oneness, to the divine inside of yourself.You can ask for guidance and help from your spirit guides, then be open and receptive to the signs.

9-Patience

Be gentle with yourself; anyone needs its own timing to learn how to self-regulate.Please do not feel guilty to be unbalanced or not shifting your energy fast enough; guilt is one of the lowest vibrational emotion, it will not be helpful.

Once you have discovered how to self-regulate, tap into your toolbox as much as you need.Life is not permanent; like the ocean, waves come and go, it is an endless dance of up and down, and it is normal.

When you are on this beautiful stream of synchronicities, when everything flows quickly and effortlessly; enjoy, be grateful, slow down the wheel of life to savour.

By doing so, enjoying the now and being grateful, you will create more positive abundance and keep harmony in your mind, body, soul and life.

Once you control your energy, you contain your life
